On May 21st, the Next Coast Ventures office buzzed with energy as we hosted our Spring Networking Meetup. Despite the warm weather, the evening was nothing short of a success, with over 60 founders, CEOs, and startup executives coming together for a night of meaningful connections and conversations.

Highlights of the Evening

The event was designed to foster a relaxed atmosphere, allowing attendees to mix, mingle, and connect. The evening was filled with:

  • Delicious Food and Drinks: Attendees enjoyed BBQ from Keith's BBQ Truck, warm cookies from Tiff's Treats, and a variety of cocktails & beers from Tap Truck Austin (A full service mobile catering bar, all wrapped up inside a vintage Ford Truck!)
  • Engaging Conversations: Industry leaders and innovators exchanged insights and experiences, sparking new ideas and collaborations.
  • Great Vibes: The positive energy and camaraderie among attendees made the night truly special, setting the stage for future collaborations and partnerships.

We wrapped up the year with our fourth healthcare breakfast, gathering Austin's digital health leaders, including CEOs, founders, and executives from early-stage ventures. A highlight of the morning was the exchange of insights on talent and compensation trends, led by Pamela Zients. Pamela provided a comprehensive overview of the market, shedding light on the current landscape and offering perspectives that are crucial for making informed hiring decisions.
