Scott joins Next Coast Ventures with 25+ years of experience in high-growth technology companies as an entrepreneur, public company executive, and venture investor. His experience spans company growth stages from founding through IPO, across many different functions including product, sales, marketing, and finance.
We are thrilled to announce that Scott Miller has expanded his role at Next Coast Ventures to Venture Partner. Scott is an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Next Coast Ventures, as well as the Co-Founder and former VP of Products at TrustRadius, a Next Coast Ventures portfolio company.
At Next Coast, we work to support the best entrepreneurs outside of the coasts by creating a dynamic team of the highest-performing industry experts.
Scott’s strong entrepreneurial background and leadership experience will further enhance this team.
Most recently, Scott was Co-Founder and VP of Products at TrustRadius, a pioneer in B2B technology reviews, where he led the design and development of both the trustradius.com site and of TrustRadius’ commercial offerings. Today, TrustRadius serves over 1 million in-market buyers and counts over 200 leading software companies as customers.

Prior to TrustRadius, Scott served as Chief Operating Officer of Vast.com (acquired by Vroom.com), a white-label operator of marketplaces for consumers serving tens of millions of monthly visitors across dozens of publisher brands in the automotive and real estate verticals. Prior to Vast, Scott held various leadership roles in Corporate Development and Strategic Planning with SolarWinds, a provider of Enterprise IT management solutions. He founded and managed the company's Asia-Pacific headquarters in Singapore.

Scott holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and an M.Eng and SB degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
